Steve

Steve Cohn
Steve is a Realtor at Frank Howard Allen Realtors in Petaluma,
California. For some reason Steve is the only male judge.
Steve seems to always be surrounded by women! Has Buffini
done that to him? In touch with is sensitive side?
Beware
though: Steve will not be judging for "pretty" pumpkins
so make them gory! Steve is married and has two adult children;
a daughter age 21 & a son age 23 (whom is an exact replica
of him). Steve has many favorite candies, ultimate favorites
are: Peanut M&M's, Kit Kats, and Bazooka Gum.
Steve was
a nun for Halloween in his thirties, and the life of the
party! Although I heard he once was Guido Sarducci from Saturday
Night Live. He even still wears the hat sometimes! Fall to
him means the last chance to get golf in before the rain
and cold hit. If you want to win Steve's vote, go for an
awesome gory pumpkin.

McCarthy (AKA Gael's Mom/ Kerry's Nana)
Halloween for Gloria means vivid color and a nip in the
air in Sebastopol, California. Where most people love the
spring because it leads to summer, Gloria loves fall because
it leads to CHRISTMAS!!!!
When Gloria was 12 years old,
she and her girlfriends dumped their mean janitor's garbage
over the side of their three story building, making a HUGE
mess! And loving every moment!
Gloria has NINE children
ranging in age of 53 to 45, three were her own: two daughters(one
being Gael) and one son. The other six children were from
marriages, BUT she says everyone one of them are her children!!!
Gloria has 18 grandchildren ranging from 18 months to 27
years old. With all these children, her favorite costume
was a witch.
She remembers she was the mother of the room
(like a teachers aid) at her children's school. She terrorized
all the classmates in Gael's 5th grade class, as well as
Colleen's 2nd grade class and Patrick's 1st grade class.
She giggles every time she thinks about it.
On a side note
she also came down EVERY year and did Gael's children's
make up and ate pizza before trick-or-treating!!! What
a Nana! To get Gloria's vote....Well knowing her she'll
say she likes them all...but she is an artist to think
of that while carving your pumpkins!

Denise has been the secretary for Frank Howard Allen Realtors
in Petaluma, California for more years then she wants to
mention. Often times called the drill Sergeant for her numerous
responsibilities. Denise LOVES dressing up for Halloween!
Each year Denise and our other secretary Pat, dress up in
awesome costumes together. They have been sumo wrestlers
(see photo left), and survivors from the popular reality
show Survivor. Denise's absolute favorite was her costume
from the movie Something about Mary. She had the wig and
wore it proudly! She was a hoot!
Denise loves Halloween because
of all the CANDY!!! Yes she is still a little kid at heart
and this time of year loves driving around and seeing the
leaves change to beautiful colors.
Denise lives in Marin County (which mean
she has an awesome home). She loves seeing all her nieces
and nephews dress for Halloween, and even taking them trick-or-treating!
If
you want Denise's vote, remember she deals with pesky Realtors
all day...She will be a tough judge to get on your side,
make 'em GREAT!

Debbie is a great friend of Gael and Kerry, Gael's assistant.
When asked if she would like to judge the contest, she
said she would LOVE to!
Debbie is an awesome wife and Mom
to three kids, two are teens! (Bless her!) One daughter
age 16, only son age 13 1/2, and her wild child is 8 1/2.
All who LOVE pancakes for dinner! Kerry will testify that
they are an awesome family to know!
Debbie's favorite recollection
of Halloween was coming home from trick-or-treating and
dumping out ALL the candy on the floor with her mom. She
would then sort the candy by type before she would digging
in.
Debbie was a ballerina when she was 12, she was so
proud because it was a professional ballerina costume!
But she remembers her Mom made her wear a turtleneck because
the costume was so low cut.
Debbie loves fall weather for
the smell of burning fireplaces in the air and snuggling
under the warm covers watching movies. Remember Debbie
has seen a lot of carved pumpkins so make them good!

Mary Vierthaler
Mary has been a Realtor in Tucson, Arizona for the past
eight years. She is originally from Kansas and still goes
back to visit her family often. Mary has two daughters,
Staci is 25 and a law student at the University of Phoenix
and Juli is 23 and getting her masters/doctorate in Clinical
Psychology in Chicago.
Mary's favorite recollection of Halloween was taking her
two daughters trick-or-treating every year going door to
door until they could no longer walk anymore, but seeing
their excited faces when they looked at all the candy in
the plastic pumpkins always seemed to make it better!
Mary's
favorite costume was the bright red and yellow M&M
that her and her two daughter had made. Fall to Mary
means COOL weather and anticipation of the upcoming holidays,
it is her favorite season! It might also be because she
has season tickets to the University of Arizona football
games!!
It
was Mary's brilliant idea of having a carving contest
last year that got her recognized by her fellow peers
involved in Buffini & Co. Thank you Mary for your
wonderful idea! |
